Norbert Schoebel

Norbert Schoebel is Team Leader, Skills for the Young, VET, Apprenticeships and Adult Learning Unit at the Directorate-General for Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion, European Commission. He joined in 2011 where he coordinated the work of sectoral social dialogue at an EU level. Since 2014 he has been in charge of work-based learning and apprenticeships. He is responsible for the ET2020 Working Group on Vocational Education and Training, the European Alliance for Apprenticeships, the European Apprentices Network, and the Task Force “European Vocational Skills Week”. He has worked in different Commission services since 2002.
