Monica Pfarr
Executive Director, AWS Foundation, American Welding Society, USA
Monica Pfarr has been the Executive Director of the AWS Foundation since September 2017. She previously served as Corporate Director for Workforce Development with the Foundation as well as Principal Investigator for Weld-Ed, the National Center for Welding Education and Training located at Lorain County Community College since 2008. Prior to joining AWS, she spent six years at Sinclair Community College leading their manufacturing workforce development projects. In her 12-year career at General Motors, she worked in numerous positions including Manufacturing Training Manager and Superintendent of Production. She holds degrees from The Ohio State University and Central Michigan University.
