Draw a selfie like Rembrandt: integrating creative skills and artisanship
Details
– in Grand Ballroom
The national museum of the Netherlands, The Rijksmuseum, sets out to integrate arts and culture in the Dutch vocational curriculum, as this is not yet the case. Arts and culture are indispensable for the development of every individual.
Artisanship, creativity, and passion is what connects the Rijksmuseum to vocational education. Since 2015, the Rijksmuseum reaches out to students and their teachers with educational programmes such as tours, workshops, and talent development competitions. These programmes are developed with teachers and experts from the vocational education system.
Wouter van der Horst, Educator Schools & Vocational Education, will share best practices and insights during this in depth-session.
