More and more countries involve juniors into the national Worldskills competitions. We have a different approach and vision of the “juniors league” development (different skills, ages and assessment). Most juniors skills have been developed based on the Official skills. However, one of the central issues nowadays is future skills, and it is essential to think about those who will possess them – juniors. Therefore, implementation of Future Skills approach into WorldSkills Juniors competition and vocational guidance preventing youth unemployment are the main topics of discussion at the panel.
Within the framework of WorldSkills Kazan 2019, the WorldSkills Juniors - a competition among young people aged 14-16 years old – will be organized as a test project. We are interested to start the on-going discussion concerning the challenges and potential of the WorldSkills Junior project
