Didier Fouarge

Professor of Dynamics of Skills Allocation, School of Business and Economics, Maastricht University


Didier Fouarge is a Professor of Dynamics of Skills Allocation at the School of Business and Economics at Maastricht University. He is the head of research of the Dynamics of the Labour Market research programme at the Research Centre for Education and the Labour Market (ROA), Maastricht University. He has been working at ROA since 2007 and has been heading ROA’s research programme on Dynamics of the Labour Market since 2014. His main research interests reside in scientific and applied research on labour market dynamics, education, occupation choice, labour supply decisions (working time, retirement), and human capital. He is a research fellow of the Graduate School of Business and Economics, Netspar Tilburg and IZA Bonn. He published in among others Journal of Economic Behavior & Organization, Industrial and Labor Relations Review, Work, Employment and Society, and British Journal of Industrial Relations.
