Karen de Man

Karen works as Communications Advisor for Nuffic and is one of the team members responsible for maintaining the worldwide Holland Alumni network. Karen studied International Business and Languages at Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences and spent a year and a half in the USA as part of an exchange programme and for an internship. Most of her professional career was spent in international education with an interlude of five years in recruitment services. At Nuffic she is responsible for creating and sustaining engagement between international students and alumni and Dutch representations worldwide. Furthermore, she recruited and trained a team of 28 dedicated volunteers, the ‘Holland Career Ambassadors’, who encourage international students and graduates to consider a career in the Netherlands and support them in their Dutch job hunt. Karen is a frequent panelist and speaker at alumni events and conferences.
