Leontien Kragten and Norbert Ruepert

Leontien Kragten and Norbert Ruepert are both educational advisors working for ROC Midden Nederland, one of the largest providers of vocational education and training in the Netherlands. They have extensive experience in innovation in VET in the field of curriculum development, development of new programmes and internationalisation. Four years ago they developed a highly innovative excellence programme from scratch at ROC MN called UP. Not only the programme was itself was innovative also the way it was established was innovative with the focus on students and teachers, with minimal requirements and the opportunity to fail. This programme has since become a model for other innovations at ROC MN and at other ROCs.
