Ton Eimers (1961) is a board member and senior researcher at KBA Nijmegen, the Knowledge Centre for (Vocational) Education and Labour Market in Nijmegen, Netherlands.
KBA Nijmegen carries out independent and scientific policy research in the field of general education, vocational education and training (VET) and labour market.
Eimers has carried out numerous national and regional research projects in the field of combating early school leaving and youth unemployment, out-of-school learning and cooperation between schools, local government and youth-care institutions.
Currently he participates in the national evaluation of ‘passend onderwijs’ (inclusive education for children with special educational needs), with a focus on young people in VET and in the transition to the labour market.
