Kelly Betts

Kelly Betts is an Educational Consultant working with Industry and Education in British Columbia, Canada. She has a long career in the promotion of Trades and Technology skills, initially as a professional Red Seal Certified Welder in the Oil Industry, then as an Educator in the K-12 system and finally in the Post-Secondary Education system as the Director of the South Island Partnership. She is passionate about the opportunities that skills events provide for the promotion of trades and technology careers to youth and has been actively involved at the regional, provincial and national levels of Skills Canada and attended WorldSkills events.
