Kathleen Elsig
Head of Strategic Partnerships and Development, The Global Apprenticeship Network GAN
Kathleen is leading GAN's work with the organization's member companies and partners to fuse the link between education and employment by promoting work-based learning including apprenticeships. She has18 years of international experience in partnership development, strategic communications, programme management and philanthropy. A US-Swiss citizen, Kathleen has held leadership roles within the private sector, international organizations and academic institutions. A core element of her work throughout her career has been generating a shared value for partners, donors and communities through the design and delivery of advocacy campaigns, technical assistance and capacity building programmes. Her efforts, in collaboration with national, regional and local partners, led to changes in legislations and government policies and programming, more efficient systems, and measurable shifts in public perceptions, knowledge, attitude and behavior.
