Managing Director, CEO, National Skill Development Corporation India
Manish Kumar is the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC). He is responsible for providing a strategic vision to NSDC. Prior to joining the NSDC, he worked as Country Coordinator and Senior Institution Development Economist at The World Bank. He was Task Team Leader for the bank's $1.5 billion loan to India for “Swaachh Bharat”. Manish has also worked in the Indian Administrative Service. He was selected as a Mason Fellow at Harvard University for his leadership in empowering tribal women from remote hills of Tripura.
