Nawal Allaoui

Nawal founded the social enterprise SeaSkin after graduating as an engineer from the Higher School of Textile and Clothing Industries (Esith) 3 years ago. Her vision is to produce and market luxury leather goods from fish leather. She succeeded to create a method for the tanning of fish skins, based on organic products. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in various types of fish and their properties, to enable her to give a second life to fish waste. Through SeaSkin she is also creating job opportunities for women. Nawal believes in thinking green and blue. She crafts fashionable leather products that are ecological, aesthetic, waterproof, and resistant.
