Kenneth Barrientos

Programme Officer, UNESCO-UNEVOC


Ken is the Programme Officer at UNESCO-UNEVOC responsible for strategic plan development, programme development and monitoring. She is a member of the project team to implement the UNEVOC TVET Innovation hub project of UNESCO. She has most recently coordinated the implementation of a Management capacity development for TEVET providers in Malawi as part of the UNESCO STEP Malawi project funded by the EU and contributes to the UNEVOC TVET leadership programme with a strong focus on ESD and greening TVET, private sector engagement and ICTs in TVET. She has recently managed and contributed to a research collaboration project on understanding return on investment in TVET with NCVER Australia, UNESCO-UNEVOC programmes on transition for green and digital societies and several UNEVOC Network capacity building and mentoring programmes in India, Hong Kong China, Mexico, Thailand, among others. She coordinates the UNEVOC regional network focusing in Asia-Pacific.
