Paul Oomens

Dr. Paul Oomens (1967), is from 2012 director of the Netherlands Association of VET Colleges. He is also member of the board of Neth-er (Netherlands house for Education and Research) which represents the Dutch knowledge community in Brussels. Before 2012 he was deputy director of Vocational Education and Adult Education and head of the Department of System at the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science. He started his career as project manager and head of departments at the Ministries of Economic Affairs and Social Affairs and Employment. Paul Oomens studied Medical Biology and Phonetic Sciences at the University of Utrecht.
